November 25th - NHL Plays

Well, last night I was pissed of as I avoided the Spread +0.5 and chose to take the ML for the FLA Panthers game knowing full well this game was going to OT. And for sure, this game did go to OT and it did end in a 4-4 deadlock causing my 'greedy' moneyline pick to push instead of winning if I had settled for the less +$$. /infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

New Day today hopefully I can hit both these plays to bring my NHL record to PLUS MONEY... /infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Vancouver Canucks ML +100 * 2 UNITS *

Red Hot Vancouver Canucks should be able to win their 7th straight game here, albeit it will be a tough test against the number 1 team in the League in Minnessota. I suspect special teams will be the big factor here as the Canucks are one of the best on the PK and have a deadly PowerPlay. (Just check out how many points the #1 line for the Canucks have talied).

2nd Pick is the Edmonton Oilers ML +200
Alot of value here, last game they played it ended in a draw 1-1. Both teams are on descent 'win' streaks, however I suspect the Oilers might be able to pull an upset here at the Joe.

Finally something good happens!

Special Teams were the factor here. CAnucks scoring on the powerplay and on the penalty kill (great backhand goal by Linden). Wild had 9 powerpalys but the Canucks' #1 PK did the job along with Cloutier.

As for the Oilers, great win there. Oilers always had a 2-1 lead, 3-2 lead, 4-3 lead...and then finally won it in OT. Good Fast pace game.
